These Terms of Service govern your use of scormedit.com and the ScormEdit application, operated by CAGAN YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ScormEdit lets you upload published SCORM packages and split, merge, edit, validate, repair and repackage them. We operate on the published output you provide; we do not recover or reconstruct original authoring source files (such as .story or .cptx).

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content, or content you lack the rights to process.
Bypass rate limits, plan limits, or billing systems.
Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the service or other users.

3. Your content and rights

You retain all rights to the packages and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the features you use. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents for any content you process, including learner data.

4. Payments and billing

Paid subscriptions (ScormEdit Pro) are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle handles payment processing, tax, invoicing and compliance. By purchasing a subscription, you also accept Paddle's terms. Pro is billed at the price shown at checkout (currently $49/month) and renews automatically until cancelled.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window for new Pro subscriptions. For details, see our Refund Policy.

6. Plans and fair use

Free accounts may process packages up to the stated size limit. Pro removes per-operation limits subject to a reasonable fair-use ceiling per package. We may adjust limits to protect service stability, with notice where practical.

7. No warranty on output

While our operations are deterministic and we smoke-test output, you are responsible for testing processed packages in your own LMS before deployment. We are not liable for tracking, completion, or scoring behavior in third-party LMS environments.

8. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or where required to address security or legal risks.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operating company, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
