This Privacy Policy explains how ScormEdit ("we", "us"), operated by CAGAN YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use scormedit.com and the ScormEdit application.

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service:

Account details: your email address and name, provided directly or via Google sign-in.
Content you upload: SCORM packages and their extracted assets, which we process to provide split, merge, edit, validate and repackage features.
Usage data: projects you create, operations you run, and basic diagnostic logs.
Payment information: handled entirely by our payment provider (see §4). We never store your full card details.

2. How we use your information

To provide and operate the service (process your packages, store your projects).
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To provide support and respond to your requests.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your uploaded course content to train general-purpose AI models. AI editing features process only the specific text or image you choose to edit, on request.

3. Your uploaded content

Your SCORM packages are yours. We process them only to deliver the features you use. Splitting and previewing can happen entirely in your browser; server-side processing stores files privately in our object storage, encrypted in transit. You can delete a project at any time, which removes its stored files.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on a small number of trusted processors:

Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record for payments, tax, invoicing and billing compliance.
Cloudflare — content delivery and object storage (R2) for uploaded and processed files.
Google — optional sign-in (OAuth).
An email provider — to send sign-in links and transactional email.
Anthropic — to power optional AI text editing, processing only the text you submit for an edit.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security, and optional analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control optional cookies via your browser and our cookie banner.

6. Data retention and security

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. We protect data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (TLS).

7. Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us — see §9.

8. International transfers

We may process data in the EU and other regions where our processors operate, using appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
